Where it starts 

We collect your food waste and bring it to the worm farm. We weigh each pick up amount before feeding it to our worms. We can feed 1/2lbs of food scrapes to each square foot of our beds each week. 
Worms eat fruit and vegtable scrapes as well as yard waste like leaves and dead plants.  They can handle small abouts of citrus and bread but we do not feed them dairy or meat products.

we let the worms do their job of turning this organic material in to worm castings.  we will feed each bin until it is full of casting.  we will stop feeding a bin for a few weeks before we harvest the castings.

we will remove as many worms as possible before we shift the finished compost.  We return any unfinished organic material to a bed in production so it can be decomosed to its fullest.  the shifted castings are ready to be used as an additive to existing plants or mixed to make soil.
